Testimonals for The Massage Therapy Center
The Massage Therapy Center’s Garry Pelletier was a life saver for me. I carry all my stress in my neck and upper back.I found the Massage Therapy Center in the yellow pages and it was the best call I ever made. Garry recommended deep muscle therapy which really relieved the stress. I now have appointments every two weeks and look forward to it each time.Garry is extremely knowledgeable, very pleasant and always concerned for your aches and pains.
WOW! My first experience at the Massage Therapy Center exceeded all of my expectations about Massage Therapy. Garry, a personable, experienced and professional Massage Therapist, offers an inviting, quiet, relaxing atmosphere that's second to none. After a series of medical issues that left me with chronic aching muscles, I went in search of a Massage Therapist who could effectively provide me with the relief I needed. Garry offers a variety of massage techniques that have proven effective in controlling my pain and meeting my needs. His years of experience allows him to identify the problem muscles and work on them to alleviate the pain. I had met with several other Massage Therapists prior to my first visit at the Massage Therapy Center, but none were able to accomplish what Garry did from the very first visit. It's a truly enjoyable experience.
I started going to Garry Pelletier about 8 years ago. At the time I was having lower back pain that had bothered me off and on for years. I was getting into competitive cycling and the harder I pushed the worse it got. I had tried a chiropractor and it relieved it but only for a day or two, so I decided to try massage therapy.
I also had a shoulder that I had separated 15 years before and was so painful at the time, that I couldn't lift my hand above my waist. I just considered this a chronic condition that I would have to live with.
After a couple of visits, my back had loosened up and I was amazed that the arthritic condition in my shoulder was gone.
Since then, I have continued to see Garry regularly. I have competed in bike races, about 15 marathons, 3 fifty milers, a 62 miler, on 100 mile trail run, 2 Iron-man triathlons, and 4 long distance bike series, which finish with a 750-mile race from Boston to Montreal and back. 2 times I have finished with the second best time of 55 hours.
I am now 52. This year I qualified for the first time and ran the Boston marathon. My time was exactly the same as it was 25 years ago when it was my first marathon and I ran it as an unofficial entry.
Visiting Garry is an important part of keeping me going, so I can achieve the goals I set for myself.
I have been a patient of Garry Pelletier for 15 years; a remarkable testimony (I think) to the healing process and the benefit of regular massage maintenance. Garry's diagnostic skills are at the heart of his abilities. He can quickly determine that part of the body needing special attention. I have Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, and Post-Polio Syndrome. Deep or soft tissue massage helps me to lead a "normal" life. Monitoring of my condition effects my ability to excercise, my diet, and care for my home.
I totally and happily endorse Garry's care and expertise.
